Read these on an extended Megabus tour of the Midwest, and loved them. Particularly the second one- I kept picturing Richard E. Grant as Patrick. Gorgeous, biting, scathing, lyric prose.

Upstream Color, Shane Carruth, 2012.
Lovely- dialogue-sparse, science-fiction romance. Worms  and pigs and orchids and symbiosis that is both jarring and strangely reassuring. Need to see again.
